How much does NetDoc charge?
There is no set price as much depends on what modalities and teleradiology equipment you might already own and therefore
what you would like us to include in our service, what volume of work that you estimate you need reporting, what your turnaround
time is and how you bill your patients.
What modalities does NetDoc report?
We can report x-rays, ultrasounds, CT, MR, OPG and BMD studies in most cases. It depends on your physical location and
method of billing.
What equipment do I need in order to use NetDoc's services?
NetDoc can provide all equipment necessary or adapt our services to equipment that you already own. Typically, a client
owns its modality and sometimes has a PACS (picture archiving and communications system) suitable for teleradiology already
installed. NetDoc can supply any missing elements or upgrade your fitout as needed; we adjust our price accordingly.
One thing you do need to provide is a broadband connection with a minimum of upload speed 512KBS.
What standards does NetDoc follow?
As a diagnostic imaging practice, NetDoc follows the RANZCR Interim Standards of Practice Version 8. These standards
are due to be applied across the diagnostic imaging profession from 1 July 2008.
All appicable equipment used by NetDoc is DICOM and HL7 compliant.
Where and when do I receive a report for a study?
Our doctors' reports are emailed back to you to ensure a rapid turnaround. If you are not the referring clinician, the
reports can also be emailed to other authorised medical staff, such as the referring clinician, to ensure minimal delay in
treating patients.
What about patient confidentiality?
NetDoc ensures the privacy and confidentiality of patient and clinician information by using encryption technology to
transmit and store all data and images.
